My name is Svetlana Shchegrykovych; I’m from Ukraine – country of beautiful people, amazing landscapes and deep cuisine traditions. All my professional life I’m responsible for food import in one of the biggest local retailor, Fozzy Group.
Our country produces a lot of food products, but not the olive oil. For professional purpose in 2007 I met this product and there started our friendship. Today I take care not only about the import of EVOO, but also educate our customers about its right attributes and rules of food pairing.
Olive oil is unique product and my wish is to make it every-day product for all Ukrainian customers.
Three years ago I began my educational path with ONAOO and in 2018 I got the qualification as a ONAOO Professional Taster.
Olive Oil Culture
In recent times, organizations that deal with olive oil tasting training have multiplied. It follows that more and more people graduate as tasters.
On one hand, ONAOO is pleased to have been the initiator of a phenomenon that interests because it creates an "olive culture" that is perceived as a necessity for market and consumers.
Considering our experience, we can say that follow the whole ONAOO path is a distinctive hallmark as well as be enrolled in the INTERNATIONAL REGISTER OF ONAOO PROFESSIONAL TASTERS
