International Register of ONAOO Professional Tasters
My name is Nadia, I live in the Marche, in the municipality of Senigallia (AN).
The passion for everything related to the oil world began in 2012, when my father passed away and left me a hundred of olive trees. In the following years, I expanded the olive grove with 300 more olive trees, in order to make mono-varietals of Raggia, Mignola, Ascolana Tenera and Piantone di Mogliano, which are regional varieties.
My real path started in 2014 with a professional pruning course. After that, in the same year I attended the course for the Physiological Eligibility for the Tasting of Virgin Olive Oils.
In 2015, I started the 3-years course for professional tasters, which I concluded in 2017 passing the exam and obtaining the title of professional taster at the ONAOO of Imperia.
From 2015, I am registered at the Chamber of Commerce of Ancona with N. 268 in the list of olive oil technician and experts.
In 2015, I attended a course for table olive tasters and I am part of the tasting panel.
In 2015-2016-2017, I attended the international meetings for tasters promoted by the ONAOO of Imperia.
In 2017, I became an oil sommelier and in 2017, I was part of the tasting panel for oil and for table olives as well.
Olive Oil Culture
In recent times, organizations that deal with olive oil tasting training have multiplied. It follows that more and more people graduate as tasters.
On one hand, ONAOO is pleased to have been the initiator of a phenomenon that interests because it creates an "olive culture" that is perceived as a necessity for market and consumers.
Considering our experience, we can say that follow the whole ONAOO path is a distinctive hallmark as well as be enrolled in the INTERNATIONAL REGISTER OF ONAOO PROFESSIONAL TASTERS
This entry opens the door to all the opportunity that the oil world offers to the professional taster and is a real value, not only added, but fundamental, for the definition of an effective and convincing operating profile.
