Leonidas Komvokis lives and works in Drama (East Macedonia & Thrace).
He graduated in the textile industry. He is agricultural and olive entrepreneur. He is a pruner of olive trees, and has participated in the professional pruning courses of the olive tree with polyconic pot organized by the ASSAM School (Marche).
In 2016 Leonidas became Member of ONAOO where he started his educational path. On January 2020 he concludes his studies by obtaining the Qualification of ONAOO Professional Tasters. Leonidas believes that “Only a deep knowledge of the quality elements of olive oil can be an effective way out in the olive growing and entrepreneurship sector.
Quality is part of our commitment to the environment, to the consumer, to everything we, as members of ONAOO, want to be proud of”.
OLIVE OIL CULTURE
In recent times, organizations that deal with olive oil tasting training have multiplied. It follows that more and more people graduate as tasters.
On one hand, ONAOO is pleased to have been the initiator of a phenomenon that interests because it creates an “olive culture” that is perceived as a necessity for market and consumers.
