Born in Vieste del Gargano on 24/09/1970, and after I graduated from university I moved to Japan. In 2001 I started my company importing EXVOO. I am a certified olive oil taster by ONAOO. Since 2007 registered in the Italian list of technicians and experts on virgin and extra virgin olive oil, and I ‘m a technical consultant for Japanese distributors. In 2016 I obtained the qualification of Professional Taster ONAOO. I participated as a judge in several olive oil competitions in Japan, one organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Tokyo and the SOL D’ORO in Osaka (SOL D’ORO SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE COMPETITION). I’m the Vice president of JOOTA (Japan Olive Oil Taster Association) and teacher in the knowledge courses of extra virgin olive oil.

In recent times, organizations that deal with olive oil tasting training have multiplied. It follows that more and more people graduate as tasters.
On one hand, ONAOO is pleased to have been the initiator of a phenomenon that interests because it creates an “olive culture” that is perceived as a necessity for market and consumers.
