Igor was born in Genoa in 1974. From 1995 he has been working in the historic olive oil company “Santagata 1907” where he became an olive oil enthusiast.
In 2000 attended his first technical course organized by ONAOO. After few years Igor decided to undertake a more in-depth path signing up the advanced course ended in 2022 and obtaining the qualification as professional taster of ONAOO.
In the company he had the chance to grow professionally fulfilling different roles, from logistics to the selection of olive oils while buying.
OLIVE OIL CULTURE
In recent times, organizations that deal with olive oil tasting training have multiplied. It follows that more and more people graduate as tasters.
On one hand, ONAOO is pleased to have been the initiator of a phenomenon that interests because it creates an “olive culture” that is perceived as a necessity for market and consumers.
